House of HR has acquired Cohedron from Argos Wityu

Brussels – Corporate Finance International (‘CFI’) is delighted to announce it acted as the exclusive corporate finance advisor to House of HR on the acquisition of Cohedron from Argos Wityu.

House of HR is a leading HR services group active in Belgium, The Netherlands, France and Germany. Headquartered in Roeselare, Belgium, the group consists of nine powerhouses representing 41 brands focusing on ‘Specialised Talent Solutions’ and ‘Engineering & Consulting’. In 2020 House of HR realised a turnover of €1.6 billion and EBITDA of €179 million. The group provides work to over 43,000 people and has 3,400 employees spread over more than 600 offices in Europe.

Cohedron is a front running full-service group servicing mainly the public sector in The Netherlands. The group consists of several specialist business units in secondment, outsourcing and consulting and works under different brand names: Wyzer, Future Communication, Human Capital Group, Argonaut, Zorg-Lokaal, Plangroep and Plangroep Financiële Services. With 2,000 professionals and over 30 years of experience, Cohedron supports and advises municipalities, public administrations, non-profit organisations and financial institutions.

Cohedron (formerly known as Future Groep) was acquired by Argos Wityu end 2017 in a transaction in which CFI advised the sellers. Cohedron has grown exponentially ever since, both organically and through add-on acquisitions, including CFI’s sell-side transaction of Newpublic dated May 2021.

House of HR is acquiring all shares from Argos Wityu. Cohedron’s leadership team remains in charge and (re)invests in House of HR.

CFI advised House of HR from the initial contact dated early April 2021 throughout the due diligence and the negotiations resulting in the signing on 18 June 2021. This transaction illustrates once again CFI’s prominent role as corporate finance advisor in the Staffing & HR Services sector and reinforces CFI’s long-standing track record of orchestrating (cross-border) transactions.

With our passion for deals, CFI is a trusted corporate finance lead advisor to the middle-market providing best-in-class advice and seamless execution on M&A transactions for our clients worldwide. Since inception in 2006, we continue to build long-term relationships and partner with entrepreneurs, private equity investors and management teams planning to sell their businesses, raise capital, restructure or build by acquisitions.
